Shiny Objects

Like most car nuts we are easily distracted by shiny things that come in the mail. This week was particularly distracting in that regard:

Clutch bulkhead brace from 034 Motorsports:

Close-up image of a metal bracket attached to a cylindrical metal pipe, viewed from an angle showing mounting holes and screws.

Solid Delrin engine mounts from 034 Motorsports:

Close-up of a black rubber engine mount secured to a metallic base with a silver hex nut, part of a vehicle chassis.
Close-up view of a shiny metal UR Quattro component with bolts, likely a suspension mount, mounted under a vehicle.

Transmission mounts from 034 Motorsports:

Comparison of an old, worn-out UR Quattro engine mount on the left and a new performance engine mount on the right, placed on a gray surface.
A comparison of two UR Quattro motor mounts, one new and shiny with a black top and silver base, and the other old and worn with rust on the metal parts.

Short shift kit from 034 Motorsport (of course):

A clear plastic bag containing automotive or mechanical components including a spring, a cylindrical metal part, a pin, and plastic washers.

We also gave the car its own “woom” to gestate in. Do you think it will be ready in nine months?

An automotive workshop featuring a partially assembled white UR Quattro on a wooden frame, surrounded by shelves of automotive parts and a display of various wheels.

Next up. Hacking up the dash to make it fit.
